Spa Etiquette
Spa Reservations
- Guests are recommended to make reservation(s) for beauty and massage treatment(s) at least 7 days in advance in order to ensure securing the desired time, day, and therapist preferred.
- We are always committed to provide sufficient therapists to service all our guests on daily basis. However, as our therapists typically rest on week days, do note that choice of therapist and preferred time may not always be available. Any preference on specific therapist or schedule, guests should not hesitate to make known to our spa so that we could take note of the request for future visit(s).
- Guests are also encouraged to be specific on the service(s) required at the point of booking(s) so that sufficient time will be allocated to complete all desired treatment(s).
Punctuality
- Unexpected skin condition particularly while providing skin related treatment(s) might cause some delay at times. We will make all effort to be punctual and attend to our guests base on booked appointments. Thus, we request the same of our guests. We advice all guests to arrive at the spa reception 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment(s) so that our therapists have ample time to communicate and recommend the right treatment(s) without any reduce in treatment time.
- Please note that as a courtesy to our guests, we have to adhere to prompt appointment schedule. Hence, late appointment may not be honored or honored in full so as other guests are not inconvenienced.
Cancellations
- If guest must cancel an appointment, please give our spa one business day (24 hours) notice prior to the scheduled appointment. (72 hours notice will be required during festive seasons) We will be happy to reschedule the appointment and this will also allow us to fill up the slot for other guests. We understand that unexpected things do happen, however, our therapists are paid on a commission basis. We ask that all guests respect their time as much as we respect yours, and that guests should take the responsibility for the appointment(s) made.
- Guests will also be given a reminder via SMS one day prior to the scheduled appointment. However, if guest fails to response to the confirmation and do not show up on the scheduled time, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the cost of the booked service(s) or forfeit the treatment(s) session from the package correspond to the said appointment. Cancellation of appointment(s) is advise to be done through responding to our SMS system as a form of proof.
Medical Conditions
- All guests who wish to experience a massage should be in good health and have no contraindications. Our spa takes no responsibility for any injuries. Any type of medical condition, guests are advice to mention it when booking an appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable. Particularly for guests with high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, pregnancy or have any other medical complications are advised to consult doctor before signing up for any spa treatments.
- For first-timer who patronizes our spa wellness salon, our spa will require guests to fill up questionnaire particularly on medical and contact information before the start of the treatment(s).
Attire
- We understand that privacy and modesty are important to our guests as our spa provides treatments for both men and women. The degree to which our guests will be disrobed depends on the treatment(s) provided. Privacy will be protected at all times as our therapists are trained to drape towels and sheets discreetly over areas of the body not involved in the treatment(s). They will also leave the treatment room immediately after the treatment. All guests will be given sufficient time to change within the treatment room thereafter.
Valuables
- Locker and key are provided in each treatment room. We recommend that no valuable jewelry be worn at the spa. However, if guest brought valuables; make certain that they are securely locked. If guest choose to take them to the treatment, be mindful of not leaving them behind. Our spa accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage of valuables of any kind brought into our spa premises.
Eating and Drinking
- Guests should avoid eating at least an hour before a treatment and consumption of alcohol on the day of treatment.
Gratuities
- Gratuities are not included in our treatment price but are gladly accepted. It is customary to tip therapists as a token of appreciation depending on the quality of the service(s) received.
Spa Environment and Privacy
- To preserve the Spa’s tranquil and relaxation environment, we respectfully request all guests to help us maintain the peaceful serenity of the spa by keeping noise to a minimum throughout the spa. To safeguard the privacy of every guest, treatment rooms are catered for men and women separately with no videography/photography or any recording device installed. Mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices are also discouraged and must be switched off or placed in silent mode at all times within the spa.
Children
- All children under 18 must have parent permission to receive treatment(s) and an adult must sign the initial consultation/medical form. The spa ambience has to remain as relaxing as possible for our guests; we regrettably cannot accommodate babies and children who are not receiving a spa service in the treatment rooms or the waiting area.
Personal Data
- We respect the privacy of our quests, and do not collect information without individual knowledge. We seek full co-operation from our guests to provide accurate and sufficient personal information required for completing sales transaction.
- We are committed that such information shall be kept strictly confidential for internal recording and marketing purposes such as occasionally notifications of new products, services, offers from us and importantly reminder of scheduled appointments. Guests are required to inform any such changes without demand in order to avoid any undelivered important notices from our spa.
- We will not release your registration, personalization and usage data to outside organizations. We may however use information collected for market analysis and we may provide aggregate statistics to reputable third party vendors. We will not include any information that will personally identify any individual to any third party.
- However, we reserve the right to disclose part or all information concerning you and your use of the services at such time and in such manner as is (i) permitted or required by law to the relevant authorities; (ii) necessary to enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements; or (iii) necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of De Nailz Spa and or our users or others.
Establishment and Therapist
- Our spa complies with regulatory requirements as mandated by Massage Establishment Act and will abides by relevant code of practice and possess necessary license issued by relevant authorities. Our therapists are also trained and meet training standards in accordance with Licensing Authority’s requirement.
